McDonald's is making a huge change to its menu today - with fans able to try several brand new items. The fast food chain announced the shake-up to its January menu last month, confirming that it would be adding three brand new items and bringing back some much-loved ones. The new items have now been launched onto UK chains across the country today.
Starting today, Maccies fans can get their hands on the new Chicken katsu one wrap. The new wrap comes in response to fans calling for the chain's Katsu chicken nuggets to make a return. The wrap consists of either a crispy or grilled chicken, covered in katsu sauce, alongside crispy onions, cucumber, and fresh lettuce, wrapped in a warm, toasted tortilla. It will set you back £3.49 for the wrap or £5.29 as a meal. However, on Wednesdays, you can get it for just £1.99.
Alongside this, Maccies has also launched its new BBQ Ranch Stack. This new burger features two 100% beef patties topped with Emmental cheese, lettuce, bacon, crispy onions, creamy ranch, and a sweet BBQ sauce, all in a glazed sesame seed bun. The BBQ Ranch Stack burger will cost £5.19 as a single item or £6.99 with a meal.
The final new item is its Milky Way McFlurry, which features soft dairy ice cream swirled with milk chocolate stars and malt-flavoured pieces topped with chocolate sauce. Those wanting to try this can get it for £2.19. Returning to the McDonald’s menu is the McCrispy BBQ Smokehouse, which is a 100% crispy chicken breast fillet coated with a smoky BBQ sauce, cheddar cheese, red onion, and lettuce in a sourdough-style sesame-topped bun. McDonald's says this menu item - beloved by fans when it was first introduced in October 2023 - will be around until May 6. The burger will set you back £5.79 as a single item or £7.49 with a meal.
