MICHAEL 'VENOM' PAGE scored the biggest win of his UFC career with a stunning stoppage of Shara Magomedov. The long-time fan favourite moved up to middleweight to take on the kickboxing phenom in the co-main event of UFC Fight Night 250 in Saudi Arabia. Page, 37, revealed to SunSport this week that he was eyeing a huge knockout victory over the new cult figure. And the Londoner delivered on his vow with a dominant display that saw the judges turn in 30-27, 30-27 and 29-28 scorecards.
"Look at me. I am the captain now," Page said in reference to Magomedov's 'Pirate' moniker. "I am the captain now.". Both men looked to use their feints to get a read on the other close the distance early doors. A frustrated Magomedov started to walk Page down with a minute and a half of the round left and found a home for a right hand.
