Made In Chelsea's Millie Mackintosh has revealed the horrific incident which saw her face issues with alcohol. The TV recalled being just 14 years old and home for the weekend from boarding school when she attended a party with her then-boyfriend. Eager to make a good impression on his friends, Millie went along with the flow, even as her wine glass was repeatedly refilled by one of his friends.

Despite starting to feel tipsy, she convinced herself that drinking was fine because it felt like something a "mature" girlfriend should do. However, the night took a sharp turn when, after dinner, Millie became violently sick and threw up all over the house. What started as an attempt to fit in quickly spiralled into disaster as she passed out while waiting for her parents to collect her. The reality star claims she woke up confused and groggy and found a boy on top of her. She later claimed that the person was not her boyfriend, but instead, the person who had been pouring drinks for her throughout the night.

Millie claims that she realised her clothes were undone when she woke up. In a newspaper column, she claimed that she fought to push him off and get away, managing to escape the room amidst his crude remarks. The ordeal left her shaken and marked the beginning of a journey that eventually led her to examine her drinking habits and their impact on her life.

In her column with The Daily Mail, she wrote: "Looking back, I wish I felt I could have confided in my parents. But how does a 14-year-old girl talk about what happened to her when she isn’t able to make sense of it herself?" The star also opened up about another situation where she fell into alcohol dependency. "School was also a traumatic experience," she said. Millie added: "And so began the cycle of instant gratification via boys and booze. The only way I could fit in with the popular crew was by pretending to be fine with their nastiness, and of course partying – which meant binge drinking every weekend.".
