Missing twin sisters in Aberdeen 'didn't tell family' about major life update before vanishing

Twin sisters who vanished over a week ago hadn't told loved ones of plans to "immediately" move out of their rented flat. The revelation about Eliza and Henrietta Huszti comes as police in Aberdeen ramp up the search along the River Dee near where they were last seen. The sisters, both 32, was last seen at 2.12am on Tuesday, January 7, as they walked through Aberdeen city centre.
Both were seen on CCTV walking along the city's Market Street at Victoria Bridge before turning onto a footpath along the river, heading towards Aberdeen Boat Club. Police Scotland detectives have since sent out marine units and dog search teams to find the pair.
The force says it is working to the theory that both somehow entered the water, with sadly no evidence as of yet that they left the area. Now Eliza and Henrietta's family has come out saying they were not made aware of the revelation they were planning on immediately vacating the flat they shared.
During the investigation, officers have learned the sisters, who are originally from Hungary and part of a set of triplets, had been planning to move out the flat they rented in the city. Police Superintendent David Howieson said on Tuesday: "There was an indication from the person from whom they rent a flat who had concerns that they left the flat and indicated they intended to move.".
