A distraught family has issued a heartfelt plea for information as police revisit the area where two sisters were last seen. Eliza and Henrietta Huszti, both 32, were last seen on CCTV on Market Street at the Victoria Bridge in Aberdeen around 2:12am on Tuesday January 7. The sisters crossed the bridge over the River Dee, turning right onto a footpath next to the river and heading in the direction of Aberdeen Boat Club.

Eliza and Henrietta are both described as white and of slim build with long, brown hair. With searches now in their second week, Police Scotland have begun revisiting the area where the sisters were last spotted, speaking to pedestrians and motorists to gain further understanding of the sisters' movements. Searches carried out by police today will focus around the River Dee, with further searches involving specialist units to continue in the coming days.

The family have issued a heartfelt plea for anyone with information to come forward, describing the disappearance as a "very worrying and upsetting time." “We are really worried about Eliza and Henrietta and all we want is for them to be found," they added.

“If you think you might have any information which could help the police with finding Eliza and Henrietta then please pass this on as quickly as you can. We appreciate all the support our family has been given over the past few days and we would like our privacy to be respected at this time.”.
