Love Island stars Molly-Mae Hague and her ex-fiancé Tommy Fury were reportedly spotted holding hands before their shock kiss on New Year's Eve. The former "it" couple became one of the most iconic duos to come out of Love Island after they met on the ITV2 programme in 2019. They went from strength to strength after leaving the villa and went on to move in together, welcome a daughter named Bambi and even got engaged.

However, a little over a year after boxer Tommy got down on one knee to propose, their relationship came crashing down with social media star Molly announcing that the pair had split, leaving their millions of fans shocked. Just hours after their split was announced, social media users had speculated that Tommy had cheated on Molly.

The Mirror revealed that Tommy had been left "distraught" by the "false allegations." Since their split, the couple have been co-parting Bambi but in recent weeks, it was reported that the duo had slowly been reconciling their relationship. On New Year's Eve, the pair added fuel to the reunion rumours when they were spotted kissing at a party thrown by Manchester United's Luke Shaw.

One fan was convinced they saw Molly-Mae and Tommy holding hands and looking close inside Manchester's Trafford Centre in the days before the party. A friend of the alleged onlooker took to TikTok to claim: "Me [right now] cause my friend seen Molly Mae and Tommy Fury today at the Trafford Centre holding hands.".

Eagled-eyed fans quickly tried to make the puzzle pieces fit as they found posts to possibly back up their claim. Tommy recently shared a snap of one-year-old daughter Bambi on his shoulders at the shopping centre ahead of the NYE celebrations. Fans believed the person taking the photo could have been Molly.
