A MUM has appeared in court charged with killing her son in a horror crash. Zac Roe was travelling in a Citroen DS9 allegedly driven by mum Barbara Roe when it smashed into a Ford Transit van and cattle truck. The youngster tragically couldn't be saved and was declared dead at the scene on the A354 at East Woodyates, near Blandford, Dorset. Roe appeared at Poole Magistrates' Court charged with causing death by dangerous driving.

The 39-year-old spoke only to confirm her name, date of birth and address. Roe was released on conditional bail to next appear at Bournemouth Crown Court on March 6. The horror unfolded on March 25 last year at around 5.20pm. Heartbroken family members paid tribute to Zac, who was from Hampshire. His father, Josh Roe, said: “Words cannot describe the pain I’m feeling, my heart is broken. "You are my little angel. I love you more than anything in this world, you are my best buddy.”.
