THE mother of a 15-year-old schoolboy has revealed her football-loving son's last words to her before he was stabbed to death. Harvey Willgoose died after being knifed twice in the chest at All Saints Catholic High School, in Sheffield, on Monday. Harvey was making his way to lessons when he was stabbed in front of his terrified classmates. Now, heartbroken Caroline has revealed that Harvey's final words to her before he left the family home to go to school on Monday were "I love you".

She told the BBC: "I have got his grubby t-shirt on so I can smell him. "I don't want to go to sleep because I don't want to wake up and have to relive it all and remember it.". She described her son as "the life and soul of the party" and "a joy to be around". "He loved football, football was his life. He was going to be an actor at one point, I think he would have been good at it", she told the news site.

Harvey's father, Mark, said his son was his "best pal" and described him as a "loveable rogue". "We need to learn from this so no-one goes through what we have as a family," he said. Caroline thanked Harvey's friends and family for their "amazing" support, adding: "That's what's keeping us going". Mum Caroline and sister Sophie placed flowers and read emotional tributes as they visited the school on Tuesday.

Harvey was described as "one of the sweetest souls" by fellow pupils at All Saints' Catholic School. Flowers, balloons, an England flag and a card have been left at the gates. A 15-year-old boy, who cannot be named because of his age, appeared in court on Wednesday morning charged with murder, possession of a bladed article and affray. The teen, who legally can't be named, wore a grey tracksuit and sat with his head down throughout most of the hearing.

The court heard the knife "went through his (Harvey's) rib and punctured his heart" following an altercation. The defendant was remanded into youth detention accommodation by District Judge Tim Spruce to appear before the city's crown court on Thursday. A mass will be held for Harvey at St Joseph's church in Handsworth at 10am on Saturday. Heroic teachers raced to perform emergency first aid as the school was placed on lockdown on Monday.

Harvey was rushed to hospital in a serious condition but tragically died soon after arriving. Tributes have flooded in for the schoolboy from his devastated friends and family. His family said: "We are utterly heartbroken at the loss of our beautiful boy, Harvey Goose. "Our lives are devastated and will never be the same again. We have lost a beloved son, brother, grandson, cousin, nephew and most importantly, a best friend to all.
