Mum takes daughter, 16, out of college after 'disgusting' beauty class demand

A mum has called out her 16-year-old's college after her daughter's beauty class were forced to do intimate waxing on each other, or they'd risk being removed from the course. "I don't know if I'm being extra sensitive or... just don't know. I took my daughter out of college," mum Safiyah from Huddersfield said at the beginning of the video. "I've got her a start date for another college which she's starting anyway, she does beauty.
She explained that her daughter had recently started college, where she is studying beauty, and that one of the requirements were to bring in clients to do treatments on. Everything was going well, until a few weeks in where the students were told they were going to be doing intimate waxing on each other.
"Well, my daughter comes home and she was upset," she explained. "She said 'mum, I don't want to do an intimate waxing. I'll do it on somebody else and I'll bring a model in, but I don't actually want the treatment myself' - which is fair enough.". Being a professional beautician herself, she argued that there was no need to go through with the treatment themselves, as she said you can learn how to do them through observation.
Safiyah went on to explain that her daughter had gone to her tutor to explain that she didn't want to have the intimate waxing done on herself, to which the tutor replied she had to do it order to pass the course. The mum organised a call with the tutor, who had told her that if her daughter didn't want to go through with the waxing, then the course wasn't for her.
