A woman revealed her partner of 25 years has left her for a lover he met on LinkedIn - but people are saying he is likely the victim of a 'scam'. Taking to British parenting platform Mumsnet, she explained that she shares two children with a man - who now is apparently 'smitten in love' after speaking to a 'single mother, who is not from the UK' online for three weeks.

After initially denying that he was messaging someone else, her partner eventually admitted to  'flirting and emotionally connecting' with the other woman. To make matters worse, the mother-of-two claimed her partner's new girlfriend has booked 'a flight and luxury suite' so they can meet up for a weekend in London.

The cheater claimed his new girlfriend is giving him something that his partner of 25 years can't. Although the couple are not married, they did sign a 'separation contract' in 2020, but he doesn't want to honour it now. Desperate for advice, the woman asked the forum how she should deal with the situation.
