As she had experienced menopause at the early age of 36, she had to wear a hormone replacement patch which she was embarrassed about on her first night of intimacy with the hunky 56-year-old actor. She said: 'I had to sneak off to the bathroom and find a way to. If anyone knows about these patches, they have quite a strong adhesive and it wasn't the easiest thing to do so I was missing from the room a bit too long.
'So things are supposed to be happening , um, so yeah I talk about that in the book.'. Menopause is when a woman stops having periods, and is no longer able to get pregnant naturally. It usually happens between the ages of 45 and 55.
