The Buffalo Bills are airborne and off to Kansas City ahead of their Sunday evening AFC Championship game matchup against the Chiefs. Photos of the team boarding the plane at Buffalo Niagara International Airport were posted on the Bills' social media accounts.
Quarterback Josh Allen, rookie wide receiver Keon Coleman, and safety Damar Hamlin were among the players photographed before the aircraft took off. In the picture of Hamlin, it appears that a group of Bills fans had gathered at the fence outside the airport to cheer the team on - giving them a proper goodbye before they fly off to Missouri.
The Bills are hoping to finally break their playoff duck against this Chiefs team that has shut them out from reaching their first Super Bowl in 31 seasons. Over the past few years, this matchup has been one of the most commonly played playoff games in the NFL.

Unfortunately for the Bills and their fans, they have not yet beaten this incarnation of the Chiefs in the playoffs. It's almost a reversal of the fortunes of these two teams from their rivalry in the 1990s. In the 1991 season, the Bills beat Kansas City in the Divisional round en-route to their second straight Super Bowl appearance.
