Nikki Glaser has claimed she got paid less to host the Golden Globes than a past male host of the event who received a six figure sum. The comedian, 40, who roasted Hollywood in her opening monologue, revealed: 'I got paid pretty — I’m good with that' during a chat on Monday's episode of SiriusXM’s The Howard Stern Show.
She added: 'There was a past host who said how much he got paid in his monologue and I got less than that, but that’s OK. I’ll get more next year. I feel well paid for what I do. I’m alright.'. The star appeared to be referring to 2023 host Jerrod Carmichael who said he was offered $500,000 to host and quipped that he took the job solely for the money in a much-derided opening monologue.
In 2024 Jo Koy was labeled 'the worst host ever' as social media blasted him over his dreadful monologue. 'Yo, I got the gig 10 days ago, you want a perfect monologue? Yo, shut up,' Koy said.
