A MODEL who hurled a McDonald's milkshake over Nigel Farage has avoided jail after she refused to apologise. Victoria Thomas-Bowen, 25, threw the banana drink at the Reform leader as he campaigned in the run-up to the General Election. The OnlyFans model initially denied assault by beating but later changed her plea.
She also pleaded guilty to criminal damage worth £17.50 after the drink also splattered on Farage's security officer's jacket. Thomas-Bowen has now avoided jail and was instead handed a 13 week sentence suspended for 12 months. She was also ordered to carry out 120 hours of unpaid work at Westminster Magistrates' Court today.
JPs were told the so-called "milkshaking" was a "protest" at Farage's campaign. He had been out in Clacton-on-Sea, Essex, in June after announcing he would stand during the election when Thomas-Bowen struck. As he left the Moon and Starfish pub, the model doused him in the thick yellow drink.
He was seen with the banana milkshake splattered across his dark blue suit as he boarded his campaign bus. Prosecutor Nishma Shah said: "She had seen posts online advertising Nigel Farage would be in Clacton-on-Sea... she didn't agree with his political views.
She brought a McDonald's banana milkshake and didn't know whether she would throw it or not. "She was sat outside the Moon and Starfish pub and decided to do it as she 'had the opportunity'. "She threw the drink knowing it would go over him but didn't intend for the cup to hit him.
