An Outnumbered star has said she was ‘nervous’ to start a radically different new career away from acting weeks after the Christmas special. Ramona Marquez, 23, reprised her role as Karen in the BBC sitcom, which follows the lives of the chaotic but relatable Brockman family.
However, she has now thrown herself into a completely new venture – and has retrained as a tattoo artist. On TikTok, Ramona revealed she had completed her first week as a professional tattooist at El Museo Studio in south London. She shared clips of herself at work, including her set-up, inking her first client and her tattoo designs.
Ramona captioned the video: ‘Beginning of the week I was so ready but also a little nervous naturally.’. First week done🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 I was so nervous leading up to this week but it went so well🥰 despite a few adhdisms like forgetting my iPad and getting the time of a booking a little wrong, everything went so smoothly and I’m so proud of myself for dealing with everything so well🥰🥹🖤🖤🖤 thank you so much to everyone who came this week, can’t wait for more!!! #tattooartist #tattoos #tattoolondon #lgbtq🏳️🌈.
Concluding her first week had been a success, she continued: ‘So proud of myself for doing it despite being scared AF and having to deal with severe ADHD that makes things so much harder. ‘Trying to remind myself that because of my ADHD I may make mistakes with timings and bookings but that is out of my control and it’s okay. It doesn’t mean I can’t or shouldn’t be doing it.’.
