FANS of Paul McCartney have been left stunned after spotting Ringo Starr and other Hollywood A-listers at his show. The former Beatles star has brought his acclaimed tour Got Back to the O2 in London for just two nights. But as fans piled into the arena for the 82-year-old's second gig tonight they were stunned to spot Sir Ringo Starr.
He was snapped arriving and sitting down in the VIP section in North Greenwich to watch his former bandmate perform. Sir Ringo, 84, was dressed in black as he wore his trademark black shades while smiling at stunned concert-goers. Let It Be singer Paul's proud son James McCartney, 47, was also spotted in attendance.
Hollywood's biggest stars also descended to hear Sir Paul perform his biggest hits from his own successful solo career and The Beatles' catalogue. Taking to social media, fans shared snaps with George Clooney, Judi Dench, Martin Freeman and Professor Brian Cox.
Earlier this week The Sun reviewed Sir Paul's tour as he performed in Manchester. "I’ve a feeling we are going to have fun tonight," cheered Sir Paul McCartney as he greeted the capacity crowds at Manchester's Co-op Live Arena. “Alright Manchester,” he chipped, “it's good to be back.”.
It was a show filled with fireworks - literally, snow - albeit the paper kind, and a tear-jerking performance of I've Got A Feeling with an AI version of his late The Beatles bandmate, John Lennon. The icon, in one of a handful touching moments on-stage, fought back tears as he hailed it “great, because I get to sing with John again.”.
