Paul Pogba has sparked rumours he could return to Manchester United for a third stint after posting a cryptic four-word message on Instagram. Pogba, a free agent, has been linked with a number of clubs since his contract with Juventus was terminated in November including French side Marseille, Manchester City, Brazilian team Corinthians and Inter Miami.
The Frenchman has also attracted interest from the Saudi Pro League and there have also been reports that Pogba could head back to Old Trafford, where he played from 2009 to 2012 and again between 2016 and 2022. Amid speculation over his future, Pogba posted a cartoon on social media of himself and Amad Diallo stood next to each other in United home kits.
Pogba uploaded the cartoon on Monday night and he is seen wearing the No.6 shirt, which is the number he wore during his second United spell. The World Cup winner then posted a second Instagram story, this time of himself overlooking Miami from a skyscraper, with the four-word caption: ‘Let’s see what’s coming…’.
Pogba tested positive for testosterone in August last year and was handed the maximum punishment by Italy’s anti-doping court. But the Court of Arbitration for Sport judges cut Pogba’s ban for a lack of intent, accepting that his positive test was the result of erroneously taking a supplement prescribed by a doctor in Florida.
