Pep Guardiola compiles seven-player transfer wishlist in bid to save Man City's season

Manchester City have drawn up a seven-player list of potential January buys who could help them turn around their season. The Premier League champions recorded only their second win in 14 matches with victory over Leicester City on Sunday. Pep Guardiola was relieved to earn three points but has already written off his side's title chances.
The Catalan coach believes his team need some reinforcements due to their current injury situation which sees the likes of Rodri ruled out. "In some positions we need help," Guardiola said. "When we're all together we're the team we were but with important players out for weeks and months it's so difficult.
Guardiola added: "I thought central defenders would be fit all season but we have struggled - holding midfield and central defenders we need help. The market is the market - it's not easy, it's expensive so we will see what the club can do.". Mail Sport report Joshua Kimmich, coming to the end of his Bayern Munich contract, Atalanta’s Ederson, Crystal Palace's Adam Wharton and Marc Guehi are all said to be under consideration to add greater depth to Guardiola's disposal.
It is also said that City could look to strengthen further forward. Liam Delap is linked with the Citizens holding a buy-back clause. Eintracht Frankfurt's breakout superstar Omar Marmoush is also among the players being considered after his 18 goals this term. Lille forward Jonathan David is another possibility after netting 19 goals in 28 games for club and country.
