THIS is the moment a berserk plane passenger forced an emergency landing after trying to break the window in a drunken rage. Roman Pakhomov, 38, was tied up with seatbelts by his fellow passengers on the Dubai to Moscow flight as also he screamed and kicked employees.

Crazy footage released on Saturday shows Roman being grappled by other fliers, and then tied to a seat with seatbelts. His legs are restrained in the footage as he lays with his arms tied behind the chair. Roman's attack came in two waves, with him initially being detained and tied up after his rowdy behaviour on board the Russian Boeing 777.

This included him launching verbal abuse at staff and other passengers on board. Russian media reported that “The aircraft commander gave the order to tie up the inadequate man with plastic handcuffs.". But these restraints were not enough, as Roman proceeded to rip them apart and start smashing the window with his fist.

This was the point where the plane was forced to make an emergency landing in Baku on the Caspian Sea. The Russian man was taken into custody by the Azerbaijan police. Reports say the man went “wild” after consuming an unknown alcohol he had brought on board the five hour flight.
