PlayStation finally responds after network goes down and makes free offer to users following worldwide outage FOLLOWING the worldwide outage that stopped users from playing online, PlayStation has issued a response and made a free offer to those affected.
It is thought the outage impacted account management, gaming, video content, PlayStation store purchases and PlayStation Direct.
The longest outage since 2011, Sony has reassured all PS Plus members by revealing they will receive five days of free service as compensation.
Posting on X, formerly known as Twitter, the account for Ask PlayStation wrote: "Network services have fully recovered from an operational issue.
"All PlayStation Plus members will automatically receive an additional 5 days of service.".
