Prince Harry's sudden move while meeting LA fire victims with Meghan speaks volumes

Prince Harry raised eyebrows with a surprise move while meeting those who had lost their homes as wildfires ravaged Los Angeles. Both Harry and Meghan Markle visited a meal distribution site and were seen hugging people and speaking to emergency crews at the Pasadena Community Centre. The couple also met Victor Gordo, mayor of Pasadena, and in footage were seen speaking to World Central Kitchen (WCK) founder chef Jose Andres.
WCK has pop-up locations around California, including at the Pasadena Community Centre, where the public and emergency crews can get free hot meals in the wake of the wildfires. And it seems that Harry was keen to go above and beyond while assisting one elderly victim of the fires, who was bedridden.
Mayor Mr Gordo told local media that he and Harry had offered the man a sandwich, some fruit and some water, but he told them what he really wanted was a doughnut. And Mr Gordo told the Pasadena Star-News: "Prince Harry says, 'there's no doughnut here, but I will find one.' He takes off, and 10 minutes later, he returns with a doughnut.
"The gentleman looks up and says, 'I guess I need my cards and my sugar.' That gentleman tonight is at the Convention Center and does not know it was Prince Harry who brought him that doughnut." Mr Gordo added that the man then told the prince: "If you ever run for anything, I'll vote for you.".
Harry and Meghan live in Montecito, near Santa Barbara, some 90 miles from Los Angeles. It is believed the couple have donated clothing, children's items and other essential supplies for people affected by the fires. They also invited friends and loved ones who had been forced to evacuate into their home, it is understood.
