Microsoft has already confirmed Indiana Jones And The Great Circle and Forza Horizon 5 will release on PlayStation 5 this year, while other first party titles like Doom: The Dark Ages and The Outer Worlds 2 will launch on Sony’s console alongside the Xbox Series X/S version.
PS5 is getting two more Xbox exclusive games this year Microsoft has announced even more Xbox games are coming to PlayStation 5 in 2025, and likely Nintendo Switch 2.
Age Of Empires 2: Definitive Edition, a remaster of the 1999 original game with improved visuals and all previous DLC, will also launch on PlayStation 5 with a new expansion – although developer World’s Edge is keeping details under wraps until spring.
The existence of these ports suggest Age Of Mythology: Retold and Age Of Empires 2: Definitive Edition could be in the pipeline for Nintendo’s Switch 2 as well – especially as they would both showcase the console’s mouse-like functionality.
