Rebecca Loos has revealed she hid behind a cabinet while working in Harrods' head office because boss Mohamed Al Fayed was coming to visit. The ex-PA, who in 2004 claimed she had an affair with the David Beckham, which he denied, while she was employed as his personal assistant, worked as a filing clerk for the luxury store for a year when she was 19 years old.
Rebecca, 48, revealed she was warned to make herself scarce when boss Al Fayed visited because 'he likes pretty young girls'. Speaking on the Anything Goes With James English podcast, Rebecca said: 'I didn't work in the store, I worked in the offices. I was a filing clerk, it was really nice, I had nice colleagues, I think I was there for a year.
'It was interesting, they told us one day that Al Fayed was going to visit the offices and I thought that sounds exciting. 'My female colleague said to me ''don't let him see you Rebecca, hide, he likes pretty young girls, he has an apartment down the road were he takes them, you do not want to get involved, make sure he doesn't see you.''.
'She was an older lady, we used to have lunch together everyday, and she just said ''make sure he doesn't see you, hide behind the filing cabinets when he comes'' and I hid. 'So I hid, never saw him, never met him, and that's why I believe all the stories in the media today, I just can't believe it has taken this long to come out.'.
