Speaking to BBC Radio Bristol just last year, Paul revealed his belief that his efforts had 'changed lives' and said it was a better feeling than any of his major acting roles.
In 2020 he set up free drama classes in Bristol for those with mental health issues and recovering from addiction under the name Morning After Drama.
The actor was best known for his role as Sol on the Channel 4 soap Hollyoaks, before appearing on the reality series Celebrity Love Island and Celebrity Big Brother.
In addition, Paul worked closely with the Amy Winehouse foundation from 2014 to 2020.
