Rio Ferdinand was left in no doubt at the player who was most to blame for Man United's limp first-half display at Fulham and was certain that the United dressing room would share his views. Ruben Amorim's side travelled to south London in dire need of points to climb up the Premier League table.

But they showed little urgency in the first 45 minutes at Craven Cottage with Fulham looking more likely to break the deadlock. And, when giving his analysis to TNT Sports at half time, Rio Ferdinand did not hold back in his criticism. The ex-Man United defender singled out striker Rasmus Hojlund as the man most responsible for his former side's failings.

'I’d be surprised if he (Hojlund) is not getting a few fingers pointed at him in the dressing room,' Ferdinand said on TNT Sports. Rasmus Hojlund struggled against Fulham, regularly losing possession for his side. Rio Ferdinand did not hold back in his criticism of the Denmark striker in his half-time analysis.

Man United are in dire need of points but they failed to convince in the first half at Fulham. 'He’s so loose in these situations, the amount of turnovers he’s had today. He’s got to make the run earlier. Slack and loose in possession giving it away.
