Amorim refused to sugarcoat the current situation and confessed that the side he's managing could be perceived as "the worst team maybe in the history of Manchester United".
He said on Sky Sports: "I'm not so sure I'd be very happy if my manager came out and said I was part of the worst Manchester United team in history.
The loss was the sixth of Amorim's tenure in the Premier League and keeps United firmly in the bottom half and on course for the worst season in more than 30 years.
We didn't see the game today, but it sounds like it was another damaging defeat and this is worrying because Ruben Amorim knew he had a big job on his hands.
