NFL fans are in for a treat on Christmas Day as Netflix becomes the global hub for America's favourite sport. The tradition of Christmas games, which began in 1971 and became semi-regular from 1989, sees some of the most eagerly awaited matches of the regular season. This year, four teams will take to the field on December 25, with Super Bowl champions Kansas City Chiefs facing off against Pittsburgh Steelers, while Houston Texans play host to Baltimore Ravens.

Netflix's relationship with the NFL dates back to their hit series 'Quarterback' in 2023, and they've extended their partnership by agreeing to broadcast at least one NFL game every Christmas until 2026. Fans will certainly get their money's worth this year with two Christmas games to be shown on Netflix. For those wanting to tune in, Mirror Sport has all the details.

To watch the games, you'll need to subscribe to Netflix and log into your account. The NFL Christmas games are included in all plans. In addition to Netflix airing the games, fans can also catch local broadcasts on TV in the home and away team markets. Fans can stream the games on various devices with an NFL+ subscription, accessible via the NFL mobile app.

Simply sign in to Netflix and you'll find the games on your homepage. Alternatively, you can search 'NFL' when it's time to watch them live. The first NFL Christmas game will feature the Kansas City Chiefs (13-1) against the Pittsburgh Steelers (10-4) at Acrisure Stadium.
