Sainsbury’s has opened its first-ever store inside a UK airport Sainsbury’s has launched a new local store inside one of the UK’s busiest airports.
It is the first Sainsbury’s store ever to be located at an airport, and its arrival is part of a ‘major revamp’ of the shopping options available at Edinburgh Airport, according to the supermarket.
Passengers travelling to and from Edinburgh Airport will now be able to pick up food, drinks, and last-minute travel essentials at the new convenience store.
Located before security, the new store will be open 24 hours, serving both arriving and departing passengers and airport staff.
As with any other Sainsbury’s store, customers can take advantage of its Click & Collect service, enabling them to order online from Argos, Habitat and Tu Clothing brands for collection.
