With a flight time of around 10 hours from London to Montego Bay Sangster Airport in the north of Jamaica, Sandals has its own private arrivals lounge where you can enjoy complimentary snacks (we recommend the plantain chips) while you wait for your, thankfully air-conditioned, shuttle to the resort.
Not part of the very generous all-inclusive experience but definitely advisable, if you can bring yourself to leave the resort, is an excursion to Dunn’s River Fall, or a Zipline and ATV Experience in the beautiful lush green Caribbean landscapes.
Dunn’s Rum Club is the place to party until 2am, you can order as many Mai Tai cocktails as you fancy and soak it all up with delicious braised oxtail sliders on coco bread.
If you happen to get caught in a tropical rain shower, a great place to get snug and while away the time is the cosy on-site Blum coffee shop with a selection of delicious pastries and sweet treats.
