A force spokesman said: “Police were called at 12.22pm on Friday, February 28 following reports of a man being stabbed inside a shop on North Wharf Road, W2.
London Ambulance Service added: “We were called at 12.20pm today (February 28) to reports of a stabbing on North Wharf Road, W2.
Police and paramedics attended in less than three minutes and found the M&S employee with knife wounds before rushing him to hospital.
Another witness saw two people “scuffling” and a man running off with a knife but the other person could not keep up with him.
A security guard in his 60s has been taken to hospital after being stabbed at a Marks and Spencer branch in central London.
