TYSON FURY appeared to announce his retirement from boxing today. But fans aren't entirely convinced he is hanging up his gloves just yet. The Gypsy King took to Instagram to share his announcement - three weeks after losing to Oleksandr Usyk for the second time.

He said: "Hey everybody, I am going to make it short and sweet. I would like to announce my retirement from boxing. "It has been a blast and I have loved every single minute of it. "I'm going to end with this - Dick Turpin wore a mask. "God bless everybody and see you on the other side.".

Fury has announced his retirement from boxing on several occasions in the past. But, the heavyweight legend has continued to go back to the sport. So it's no surprise that many fans have already called his bluff - especially as he is yet to fight fellow British heavyweight Anthony Joshua.

Boxing promoter Eddie Hearn revealed at the weekend that he recently booked out Wembley Stadium for a potential bout between Fury and Joshua. The Matchroom chief appeared fairly relaxed when learning about Fury's latest retirement announcement. He told the official Matchroom Boxing social media account: "Yeah, I think if you haven't got the heart for it anymore and you don't want to compete anymore I think retirement is the best option.
