Disney alum Dan Benson says he's preparing to shut down his OnlyFans page after more than two-and-a-half years. 'I think I'm done,' the 37-year-old actor/model said in a TikTok post he later deleted. 'When I made the decision to start an OnlyFans page, I thought I was doing it for the right reasons.'. Benson, who played the role of Zeke Beakerman opposite Selena Gomez on Wizards of Waverly Place from 2007-2012, explained how his financial situation has changed in recent years.
'I was doing it to support financially my elderly dog that needed a lot of financial help with his medical bills,' Benson said. 'I was tired of being so poor and feeling like I was being taken advantage of. I don't know. 'I think after years of doing this, it's starting to weigh on me and I'm going to pull away for a while and take some time to reflect.'. The Springfield, Missouri native - who has more 258,400 followers on TikTok, and another 101,000 followers on Instagram - made clear his gratitude to the people who subscribed to his account, which features adult content.

'I might go back to acting. 'I might just go and try and get a normal job and disappear - just be a normal person - I don't really know.'.
Benson said that he hoped he could scrub some of his racier content off the Internet, and advised people to fully understand the permanence of posting revealing content online. 'I hope I can remove some of the stuff that is already out there,' said Benson, who has also worked on shows such as Rick and Morty, Private Practice and Zoey 101. 'So if you're thinking about doing this, just be thoughtful, because I know it's going to be really hard.'.
The post that Benson announced his expected departure from the site was subsequently removed, according to the outlet Just Jared, which was first to report the news. As of Monday evening, the page appeared to be active, with the actor offering a 28-day subscription for a $9 fee. In his bio on the site, Benson describes himself as an 'actor best known for [his] role as "Zeke" on Disney Channels Wizards of Waverly Place,' adding that he's 'now ... embracing [his] wild side.'.
He said that his site offers more than '500+ full length videos, sex tapes, livestreams every week, giveaways, raffles and more,' adding, 'Join me on my very public sexual journey.'. Benson played Zeke Beakerman on Wizards of Waverly Place from 2007-2012 opposite Selena Gomez. Benson has had an active account on the adult-geared website since 2022. Benson was seen at an event in LA in May of 2011 at SupperClub Los Angeles.
Benson started the OnlyFans page in July 2022 in what he said was an effort to help the LGBTQ community. He said in his profile at the time, 'If you wanted to see me naked - your wish has been granted.'. Benson at the time announced his intentions for the page via X/Twitter: 'I’ll be using this new found resurgence to fight for and support the LGBTQ communities that deserve so much better from this country. Drop a link to your favorite organizations below.'.
Benson follows in the footsteps of a number of prominent names who have started accounts on the pay site. Another Disney Channel alum in Bella Thorne was the first person to earn $1 million within her first day in August of 2020, while celebs who have started platforms on the site in the years since include actresses Denise Richards, Carmen Electra and Drea de Matteo; and music stars such as Tyga, Blac Chyna and Iggy Azalea.
The popular platform garnered controversy in August of 2021 after it announced it was looking to eliminate 'sexually explicit' material, as the site is a mainstay among adult entertainers. OnlyFans subsequently backpedaled from the announced change after a major pushback from those who use the platform. 'Thank you to everyone for making your voices heard,' the company said. 'We have secured assurances necessary to support our diverse creator community and have suspended the planned October 1 policy change. OnlyFans stands for inclusion and we will continue to provide a home for all creators.'.
