The likes of Sergio Aguero, Pierre Gasly and Eva Longoria battled it out on Saturday morning in a star-studded celebrity padel competition at the Alpine Hexagon Cup in Madrid. Kun Aguero, who joined forces with Lionel Messi to create a padel franchise called Krü Padel by Taktika, took on another iconic striker in Andriy Shevchenko while F1 driver Gasly, who co-owns 10Padel, was also present. Hollywood actress Longoria is the owner of the ElevenEleven team, with eight franchises taking part in the unique team competition that brings together the world's top padel players across teams led by renowned personalities.

Other high-profile owners include Robert Lewandowski (RL9), Rafael Nadal (Rafa Nadal Academy powered by Richard Mille), Andy Murray and Anthony Joshua (AD/Vantage). Former Tottenham striker Fernando Llorente also teamed up with Maribel Nadal, sister of Rafael, to take part and stars like David Villa have been in attendance over the past few days to watch the tournament, described as padel's first world cup for private teams.

Pairings from each team compete in a round robin across four days before fighting for the trophy on Sunday, with Team AD/Vantage the current holders of the title after winning the inaugural edition last year. Sergio Aguero battled it out in a star-studded celebrity padel tournament in Madrid. F1 driver Pierre Gasly was also present at the unique Alpine Hexagon Cup on Saturday. Eva Longoria is the owner of the ElevenEleven team in action during the tournament.

Hollywood superstar Longoria spent time with Aguero before the action began. This season's roster of stars includes top-ranked players such as Agustín Tapia, Arturo Coello, Ari Sánchez, Federico Chingotto and Paula Josemaría. The event is in its second year, with all of the matches streamed live on ITVX in the UK. ITV made history last year when it became an official rights holder of the Hexagon Cup, as it marked the first time ever that professional padel was aired on a mainstream television channel in the UK.
