Crown attorney Sean Sass claimed that Kabecz and Lima - who allegedly went by 'Goddess May' online - owned an operated a website that hosted videos of Lima crushing animals, including kittens and cats, with her bare feet.
Irene Lima and Chad Kabecz, who lived together in the Manitoba province, were arrested in October and each charged with four animal cruelty-related offenses after a local veterinarian got a tip about videos depicting animal torture.
Winnipeg police said more than 75 animals were filmed being tortured and killed between May 20 and October 7 of this year.
According to Sass, this website, only available on the dark web, was called 'Goddess May Barefoot Premium Crush.'.
