CHOCOLATE lovers have been offered a sweet deal as two supermarket giants have slashed the price of Cadbury's selection boxes just in time for Christmas. Those looking for last minute stocking fillers or a self-indulgent treat may want to act fast before stock disappears from shelves.

Offering 78g of Cadbury's chocolate, the box includes various Treatsize and regular options. For less than £1, bargain hunters could nab the deal which includes Dairy Milk Buttons, Chomp Bar, Freddo, Curly Wurly and Fudge. To top it all off, the perfect gift box has been decorated to feature a Santa, reindeer, a present and snow.

The item looks to be so popular on the Aldi website, which advertises them for just 99 pence, there is a maximum purchase of 15 items. Aldi has already declared the 89g pack as sold-out online so it may be worth heading straight to your local shop if you are wanting to try some for yourself.

It is always good to remember to phone ahead first to make sure you can avoid disappointment. Customers could also keep their eyes peeled at Poundland and Asda stores which have advertised the same box on sale for £1 and £1.25, respectively. Already sweet treat fans have reviewed the item up for grabs with one shopper describing it as a "fantastic gift" for all.
