SHOPPERS have just days left to snap up tubs of Quality Street from a major supermarket for £3.95. Aldi has slashed the price of its 600g containers from £4.49, making it the cheapest place to buy the chocs out of all the major retailers. But you have just days left to buy the cut-price tubs as the offer only runs until December 23.

You can only get the tubs in branches too as Aldi no longer offers a home delivery service. Of course, make sure you compare prices across different retailers through websites like Trolley or Price Spy to make sure you are definitely getting the best price.

Retailers often battle it out to offer the cheapest prices on popular festive chocs like Quality Street, Heroes and Celebrations at this time of year. The next cheapest supermarkets to buy a 600g tub after Aldi is currently Tesco and Asda. Tesco is selling tubs to Clubcard customers for £4.50 and £6 to those without one, while Asda is selling two for £9, which works out at £4.50 per tub.

Asda is also stocking new refill packs of Quality Street, made by Nestle, for £5 down from £6.99. The bag weighs in at 750g, 150g more than the 600g tub, but costs the same per 100g. The bags feature dark chocolates, toffees, the famous Green Triangle and The Purple One and can be bought in-store and online.
