Sir David Jason, 84, makes rare appearance at star-studded Only Fools And Horses Musical gala night

Sir David Jason made a rare appearance at the Only Fools And Horses Musical gala night at the Evertim Apollo in London on Wednesday. The actor, who played Derek 'Del Boy' Trotter in the BBC sitcom, joined members of the cast including Sam Lupton, Vinny Jones and Paul Whitehouse at the event.
David, 84, sported a bright red zip-up jumper which he wore with a dark brown jacket and a pair of beige trousers. The sitcom star posed for several snaps alongside Sam who plays Del Boy in the musical. Also in attendance at the show was Penny Lancaster who looked incredible in a red top which she wore with a matchhing skirt.

Anthea Turner cut a glamorous figure in a black sparkling blazer and matching trousers which she wore with a white shirt. It comes after David explained that his Only Fools And Horses character has overshadowed his other work. David told the show that he feels the 'ghost' of Derek Trotter is following him and explained that he feels the character hangs over him.
