Sir Jim Ratcliffe furious with two Man Utd stars after making rare Old Trafford trip

Sir Jim Ratcliffe's frustrations were plain to see on Thursday night, with the Manchester United part-owner seen reacting to tough moments for big-money pair Antony and Leny Yoro. Ratcliffe, whose stake in the club was ratified in 2024, doesn't attend every game at the Theatre of Dreams. He has been spotted in the stands more regularly than the Glazer family, though, and was in attendance for the comeback victory over Southampton.
A hat-trick from Amad made the difference against Ivan Juric's side, who had taken a surprise lead when Manuel Ugarte deflected a Tyler Dibling header into his own net. United still trailed heading into the final 10 minutes, only for Ivorian winger Amad to rescue victory from the jaws of defeat.
Before the late comeback, though, there were plenty of frustrating moments. One of the worst came when Antony failed to divert the ball home from point-blank range, but the half-time substitute wasn't the only one to frustrate the watching Ratcliffe. According to BBC Sport, Ratcliffe's stern look in the stands came shortly after Antony's miss rounded off a tough couple of minutes for United. Moments earlier, summer signing Yoro had been skinned by Southampton's Kamaldeen Sulemana, though the visitors failed to take full advantage of the burst.
