Sky TV customers need important new code that locks content from kids on popular app – how to set it up NEW parental control features have been introduced to a popular app used by every kid that's accessible via Sky boxes and TVs.
It'll also pop up if you try to remove YouTube accounts from the Sky Glass, Sky Stream and or Sky Q device.
"We hope this change gives you added comfort in knowing kids cannot use accounts and features on your smart TV that aren’t meant for them, while also making recommendations in your profile more relevant to your interests rather than what you previously watched together as a family," YouTube owner Google said.
When activated, a request for the parental code will appear whenever someone tries to watch YouTube signed out or if you try to go into a non-kids YouTube account.
Setting up parental codes is simple - start by opening the YouTube app on your Sky TV or box.
