TV star Stacey Solomon has revealed a brilliant hack to make your bed look like it belongs in a hotel - and all you need is a clothes hanger. The Tap to Tidy author shared her fantastic advice on how to make a bed with her millions of Instagram followers. In a video titled 'Make a Bed with Me,' Stacey filmed herself as she fitted her bed sheet and duvet. In the clip, she uses a wooden coat hanger to pull the cover tightly as she tucks it under the mattress. Stacey recorded the video as she stood on the bed and explained that she started doing it to protect her nails when doing chores.

The TV presenter said: “There’s just something so satisfying about fresh sheets. It’s sheet day on Sunday but did nothing yesterday but play in the garden so starting the week in fresh sheets instead.”. And the genius trick is also backed by industry experts. Ashley Hainsworth, who works at Bed Kingdom, explained that the hanger helps remove creases from the bed sheet. He believes that the tool is more useful than using your fingers. “If you’ve ever looked at a hotel bed or a home Instagram account in awe at how neat their bedspread is, you’re not alone," he said. "But actually it’s easier than you think to get this look, all you need is a wooden coat hanger and up to five minutes.”.

He added: “The wooden coat hanger is sturdy enough to have some pressure put behind it and can fit into tighter spaces better than your hand can. It can also reach further, meaning your sheets are pushed further under the mattress, creating a sharp, uncrumpled appearance. So there’s no need to spend hours trying to iron the bedding. Use the coat hanger to push the duvet under the mattress or into the bed frame if your type of frame allows.”.
