King Charles appeared upbeat this afternoon as he greeted ex-Hear'say singer Myleene Klass at a Buckingham Palace reception.
The King also stopped for a moment to speak to comedian Liz Carr, who appeared deep in conversation with the monarch.
Queen Camilla was also in attendance at the gathering, after spending her morning with the Asian Women's Resource Centre as it marked 45 years of helping victims of domestic violence, forced marriage and honour-based violence.
The monarch, 76, held the reception to recognise the humanitarian efforts of a number of people, including His Dark Materials actress Ruth Wilson and presenter Fern Britton.
It comes on a busy week of engagements for the royals, after Charles yesterday stepped out in a dapper grey suit to visit Imperial College in London.
