Chris McCausland has won the Glitterball trophy in the highest ever scoring final of Strictly Come Dancing. The blind comedian, 47, triumphed on an emotionally charged evening in the ballroom with celebrities, dancers and judges reduced to tears in one of the most fiercely competitive finals in the show's history.
The Liverpudlian praised his partner Dianne Buswell for teaching him how to dance as judges remarked he was the most 'extraordinary person' to compete on the BBC series. Our live coverage has now ended but for a full recap of the Strictly final see below.
