The BBC launched an investigation and of the 17 complaints, six were upheld, but the most serious allegations of physical aggression were not upheld with Giovanni coming out afterwards to admit he is a “strict teacher” but not a bully.
Gorka - who was partnered with Dr. Punam on the latest series - admits he took note of what happened with Giovanni and he adjusted his approach to teaching accordingly.
