However, the 30-year-old has also experienced the negative side to fame after going through a terrifying stalker ordeal. Ostrom took to Instagram to share a video with her thousands of followers in which she detailed the scary situation. Ostrom explained that a man had initially showed up at a golf course that she regularly frequents looking for her. The club contacted Ostrom to inform her but she didn't recognize his name and brushed it off as a follower.

However, the situation escalated Friday night when the individual turned up at her home, having 'abused his job' to obtain her address. Golf influencer Hailey Ostrom has opened up on her terrifying stalker ordeal. A post shared by Hailey Rae Ostrom (@haileyostrom).
'It was a very scary situation for me and I have never had anything like that happen before,' Ostrom told her followers. She messaged her parents to call the police before the man eventually left of his own free will without making any threats. It later emerged that he had fallen victim to a scam. He had been messaging a fake profile posing as Ostrom, which had asked him to send $50,000 before going dark on him.
