Supermarket chain reveals Valentine’s Day meal deal including oysters and cocktails from £12

A SUPERMARKET chain has revealed its Valentine's Day meal deal and it includes oysters and cocktails for £12. With money tight, many love birds choose to celebrate the romantic holiday indoors as opposed to forking out for a posh meal in a restaurant.

Ahead of the big day on February 14, many grocers now launch dine-in deals which give customers a chance to enjoy a fancy dinner for a bargain price. And Tesco is the latest supermarket to reveal what it is dishing up customers. The UK's biggest supermarket offers shoppers the chance to pick up a ready-made two-course meal with a side and drink for just £12.

This increases to £18 if you want to add a starter. Couples could kick-start their meal with Tesco Finest Coquille St Jacques with Panko Crumb, and then move on to a Chicken Ballotine with Parmesan and Wild Garlic for their main. This could be enjoyed with a side of Tesco's finest Golden-Baked Potato Dauphinoise.
For dessert, diners could enjoy Lemon Meringue Oyster Shells, which feature lemon marbled meringue shells with a dark chocolate coating, filled with Sicilian lemon curd crème pâtissière. This could be washed down with a glass of Prosecco Valdobbiadene.
Or they could choose a four-pack Moth Margarita canned cocktail. The products need to be cooked in either the oven or microwave, like most ready meals. It's also worth noting that the deal is only available to Tesco Clubcard holders. If you are not a member you will have to pay full price for the products.
