Amazon Fresh has just launched a new meal deal for just £1 for the month of January. The meal deal - which consists of a main, snack, and drink and is usually priced at £3.90 - is available in Amazon Fresh stores across London from January 6 until January 31. These supermarket stores include Southwark, Holborn, Moorgate, Wood Wharf, Euston, Liverpool St, Monument, Hoxton, East Croydon, West Hampstead and Aldgate East stores. Shoppers can get hot drinks as part of the deal, as well as iced drinks at its Holborn and Liverpool Street stores.

The deal includes lunchtime favourites from Amazon's range, such as the chicken Caesar and bacon wrap and arrabbiata chicken pasta salad. It also includes items from brands such as Huel, Bol, and Nourish. However, the chain's £5.50 premium meal deal is not included in the offer.

To claim the deal, shoppers need to visit the retailer’s website and pay at the gates or self-checkout using the Amazon app. A meal deal can be the ideal lunch option when you’re looking for something affordable and quick to eat, and the move makes Amazon the cheapest meal deal on the market at the moment. Tesco's meal deal will currently set you back £3.60 with a Clubcard, or £5 without.

Sainsbury's three meal deal options are priced at £3.75, £5, and £7, while Asda simply offers the cheapest of three items across its food-to-go range for free. Morrisons' meal deal is £3.50, and Boots' is £3.60 with an Advantage Card. Waitrose has a meal deal which is priced at £5, which includes a main, a snack, and a drink and The Co-op’s meal deal costs £4 for usual customers and £3.50 for Co-op members.
