Unexpected grocery store slashes lunch meal deal to just £1 – cheaper than Tesco, Sainsbury’s and Boots

A GROCERY store has slashed the price of its lunch meal deal to just £1 - making it cheaper than rivals. The bargain deal is available throughout January and includes lunchtime favourites such as sausage rolls, wraps, sandwiches and pasta salads. The offer is available from 11 Amazon Fresh stores across London between January 6 and January 31.

The £1 deal includes a main, snack and drink from the retailer's £3.90 meal deal range. The options available include favourites from the range such as the chicken Caesar and bacon wrap and arrabbiata chicken pasta salad. The deal also includes items from brands such as Huel, Bol and Nourish.

Tesco offers £3.60 and £5 meal deals when customers use a Clubcard. Sainsbury's offers three meal deal options priced at £3.75, £5 and £7, while Asda simply offers the cheapest of three items across its food to go range for free. Meanwhile, Morrisons' meal deal is £3.50 and Boots' is £3.60 with an Advantage Card.
