Tamworth's FA Cup clash with Tottenham had to be delayed before one of the home players had to fix the goal net with tape. The non-league outfit are hosting the Premier League side at their Lamb Ground, which holds just over 4,000 and boasts a 3G pitch. It is by no means the perfection that Tottenham will have become accustomed to and kick-off had to be halted when there was an issue with the net.

A drop in the Tamworth net, which will be guarded by goalkeeper Jas Singh in the first-half, meant there was a slight gap just below the cross bar and the game couldn't start until it was addressed. In real Sunday league fashion the players teamed up to sort the issue with some tape sourced to fix the problem.

Striker Beck-Ray Enoru, who works as a shop assistant in Zara, was hoisted on a team mate's shoulders to sort the issue as he closed the gap in the net. The third round clash was eventually able to begin five minutes behind schedule as the capacity crowd at Tamworth were made to wait. The Staffordshire outfit, who have secured back-to-back promotions, are still not full-time but saw off Huddersfield to land themselves the tie against Tottenham.

It is a classic FA Cup encounter and represents the chance for an epic upset - the kind of which have only happened a handful of times since the war. Lincoln in 2017 were the last team from the non-league to beat a top flight outfit, doing so against Burnley.
