Elizabeth, who was killed at the scene in Renfrewshire, had been struck by a white car on the town's Barrhead Road near the junction with Ladykirk Crescent, the Daily Record reported.
Elizabeth Kennedy, 70, was struck by a car on Barrhead Road in Paisley at 7pm on Tuesday and died at the scene.
"I would urge anyone who witnessed the crash, or who may have seen a white car in the area around that time, possibly with damage, to come forward.
Kellie Alexander, who turned 47 just a day before her death on December 27, has been hailed as an "amazing" woman who "would have done anything for anybody".
