Lynx Africa is known as the ‘teen stench of choice’, with that first aerosol spray – liberally applied in the changing rooms after PE – marking the journey from puberty into manhood. And now, it’s making its way from pits to private parts, with a newly-launched collection specifically designed for below the belt.
Marketed as ‘whole body deo’, there are 12 options in Lynx and Sure’s range, each promising to provide 72-hour freshness while being kind to the skin in areas like the ‘boobs, feet and beyond’. These ‘intimate’ deodorants feature technology ‘that adapts to the varying odours found in different parts of the body’, and can also be used on penises – something the Lynx Lower Body Spray certainly seems targeted towards.
The Sure lineup includesspray, stick and quick-drying lotion formats, in Wild Rose, Fresh Citrus, Ocean Rush and Active Fresh scents, while Lynx sprays come in Pear & Cedarwood or Coconut & Sandalwood. Priced at £5.95 for 100ml, these are much more expensive than the core Lynx body sprays – which are typically £4 for a 150ml can – although core body sprays are not to be used on your privates.

Each of the products includes ‘exclusive Odour Adapt technology’ which Sure claims works with the ‘unique microbiome, which causes body odour to vary across different areas’. The range is suitable for everywhere external except the face, but shouldn’t be applied to freshly shaved skin.
